Nils Werner is a founding member of Ricky Shindig and primarily holds down the rhythm guitar, while occasionally stepping into lead guitar duties. His playing is heavily inspired by virtuoso guitarists like Yngwie Malmsteen, which adds a subtle neoclassical touch to his style.

Known for his calm and laid-back personality, Nils brings a unique balance to the band. In rehearsals, he sometimes appears so relaxed that it almost seems like he’s only physically present—but when it counts, he delivers exactly what the song needs.
Over the years, Nils has made countless attempts to convince Daniele to switch to Elixir strings—so far without success. Outside of music, he’s also the band’s go-to source for surprisingly deep knowledge about penguins, a topic he seems to have mastered just as well as his guitar parts.
